We’ve Been Trained and Developed
This past Saturday we returned from HCJB Global’s Ministry Service Center in Colorado Springs where we attended 10 days of Training and Development. A majority of our time was spent learning how to build a long-term support base and then keep that support base up-to-date and also learning about what our transition to and initial time on the mission field will be like. We have a lot of different emotions running through us right now and overall we know that we are doing what God has called us, which we’re excited about. We know that He will provide for all our needs and provide people to come alongside us as we move forward. We are excited to say that while we were in Colorado Springs we had a family commit to supporting us monthly, which was totally unexpected. It’s fun for us to see how God is already building a support base from places we didn’t expect. We ask that you would pray for us throughout this process, that we would rely on God and that we would be growing in Him daily. Thanks!

We are headed to the other side of the world to live in Singapore. We are missionary appointees with HCJB Global (www.hcjb.org) in the Asia-Pacific region (ap.hcjbglobal.org). God has been doing great things in our family and we are looking forward to serving Him in Asia. Right now we are raising support for some of our initial ministry expenses including a trip to the HCJB Global Ministry Service Center in June and a trip to Singapore later in the summer. We started talking and praying about being international missionaries when we were engaged. This will be a great adventure that we are thrilled to be finally embarking on. We will be sending out e-mail updates with prayer requests, updates on where we are on support, and just bits about what is going on in our lives.
