Toffer and I have noticed an interesting trend among our supporters.  They’re expecting!  We currently have 26 individuals or families who have pledged support to HCJB Global for our ministry.  Four of those families are also expecting, three of the babies are due within just a couple weeks either side of me.  I think all four of the families had committed to HCJB Global before finding out they were expecting. In addition to our regular supporters, we know of at least one other family who found out they were expecting after having sent in a gift for our ministry.  There may be others.

So, why does this matter? Well, we very much believe that children are a blessing and we pray for every family who sends a gift in that God will bless that family.  These families have been obedient to God’s call on their lives and have used their finances as He’s directed. I certainly don’t think that every family who supports us in one way or another is going to have another baby! But I do believe that these beautiful little children being knit together in their mothers’ wombs are certainly an outpouring of God’s blessing because of their obedience to Him.  Those families may have been surprised that this was God’s way of blessing them, but I’m honestly not. And I pray for those little ones right along with my own.
