It’s HOT!

I know the website hasn’t been updated much over the past couple months.  We’ve pretty much been in survival mode since Benjamin was born in June. We’re starting to get back into the swing of regular life.  Samuel and Benjamin are doing very well. We are so thankful for how well the transition from family of three to family of four has gone.  I’ve told Toffer multiple times that I think I’ve actually done better this time around than I did when I had Samuel.  I think there are a lot of factors that add to it, but one of them I know for sure is that we had so many people praying for us during my pregnancy. Thank you if you were one of them!

So, after we got back from Singapore last September we made a rule in our house that if the temperature outside was below 90 degrees we could not say that it’s hot.  God apparently decided we REALLY need to get to used to hot weather and gave us hot day after hot day this summer.  We’ve had several days recently that have been close to or over 100 degrees, which is even hotter than it typically is in Singapore.  I’ve been trying to get out and walk some with the boys even with the heat so that we can all get used to.  It’s going to take some time getting used to.  And it will definitely take a while to get used to not having seasons. It’s low 90′s and humid 12 months of the year in Singapore. God designed our earth and that just happens to be the way He designed Singapore. We’re used to living here and it will take some time to adjust to living somewhere else. Thankfully He designed us to do that as well.
