Right now we are only $1,800 a month a way from our goal… that’s just over a quarter of the way left to go.  Thanks so much to those who have caught the vision for seeing a region transformed by Christ through media.

We’re now registered for training that is coming up in a few months and we’d love to have reached our goal by the time we begin training.

It is both exciting and scary for us as we see the end of this part of the journey approaching but the reality of living in a totally different culture is starting to become more real.  I can get thrown off by going to a different grocery store than my usual… what about when I don’t recognize much of what is on the shelf at all?

Recently we were sent some information about various housing options that may exist to get an idea of what to expect.  On one hand it appears that there are some options at a good price, but on the other hand none of it is like what I’m used to seeing here in Murfreesboro, TN.

All that to say that there are a lot of new things coming soon for our family.

One question we know that some people have (whether they say it out loud or not) is “how much are you wanting us to give?”

In order to give people some guidance we suggest helping meet a percentage of our support raising goal.  As a reminder, one percent comes out to about $65/month.  All it would take is another 25 or so individuals and families at that level to put us at 100%.  For those that aren’t able to do as much half of one percent is about $35… just over one dollar a day.  For others God has given more in the terms of financial resources and $130 a month would move our progress 2 percent.
